Hertfordshire Students’ Union elections season is a highlight of the year with the main campus transformed into a hub of activity. This year they partnered with Union Design to create an exciting new campaign style that would engage more students than ever before.
The brief was to create a consistent and bold new design and implement it across a range of digital and printed materials. Completed in a tight turnaround, Union Design had to work within the confines of Hertfordshire SU’s existing visual identity to ensure it was consistent with their brand aesthetics.
In response to the brief we create a series of designs that reflected the excitement of the elections season. The images needed to grab attention is a busy environment, whilst reflecting the diverse student audience. The designs included a bold hand-printed style typeface with a series of engage tagline.
