Co-wheels Brand Growth

We worked with the national car club to strengthen their visual identity.

Co-wheels are the UK’s leading socially and environmentally conscious car hire scheme. In July 2015 they approached Union Design to work with them to move them brand forward and enable them to reach a new youth market.

Up until this point photography had been the key tool for promotional and informational materials. Yet to engage their key audience (young adults), and for the production of infographics, a new complementary vector-based style was required. We worked with the Bristol marketing team to create an icon library including representations of their three key car models. Our designers also assessed and updated their logo and confusing colour palette to create a succinct palette that they could use across all areas of print and digital design.
